2025 Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Celebration

Saturday, November 22, 2025 | Downtown Tipp City

Can you believe this is only the second year for our Christmas Parade? Last year, it was such a hit that it was even voted Best Community Event of 2024 at the Community Awards. We can’t wait to see what this year brings—it’s shaping up to be even bigger and brighter!

The parade will step off at 6:00 PM from Mauk Cabinets by Design and head down Main Street to South Second Street. We’ll have the stage set up at 3rd & Main, and just like last year, you’ll be able to catch all the magic even if you can’t make it downtown—we’ll be live streaming on Facebook.

And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without the tree lighting in the Zion Lutheran Church yard at the corner of Main & 3rd. At 7:00 PM, we’ll flip the switch together, light up downtown, and then keep the celebration going with a community sing-along.

This Year’s Theme: Twinkling Tidings in Tipp

Floats, costumes, golf carts, music, and more lights—our community. This year, everything will shine under the theme “Twinkling Tidings in Tipp.” We’re so excited to see the creative ways everyone brings this to life!

Yuletide Winter’s Gathering

Step into the spirit of the season during the Yuletide Winters Gathering, November 7–9 in storybook downtown Tipp City!
This beloved tradition marks the premier weekend of the holiday season, as our downtown shopkeepers open their doors with festive décor, special treats, and one-of-a-kind gifts you won’t find anywhere else.
Enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m., and delicious bites from local food trucks throughout the weekend.
Most shops will be open extended hours — Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. — but be sure to check with your favorite merchants before visiting.
Make it a weekend of shopping, dining, and memory-making in historic downtown Tipp City, where every storefront feels like a page from a storybook.

Merchant Trick or Treat

Downtown Tipp City Merchants Host Trick-or-Treat Event October 25 There’s no better place to celebrate Halloween than in the heart of Tipp City’s historic downtown. On Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., downtown merchants and local nonprofits will be opening their doors, ready to greet families with treats, smiles, and small-town charm during the Downtown Merchants Trick-or-Treat. Costumed children and families are invited to stroll through Tipp City’s walkable downtown district and collect candy from participating businesses and organizations. While you are there, take time to discover a new store, a favorite product, or the perfect cup of coffee from one of downtown’s unique shops and restaurants. All restaurants will be open during the event so you can make a full morning of it. “This event is all about community and connection. Our downtown businesses love seeing families making memories here, and it truly captures the spirit of Tipp City,” said Amanda Carl, event organizer and longtime manager of Browse Awhile Books. Even if you are not trick-or-treating, it is worth the trip just to experience the energy and joy of downtown Tipp City on this festive fall morning. Between the costumes, laughter, and local hospitality, there is something special waiting on every corner. Join us downtown on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and make Tipp City part of your Halloween tradition.

Get ready for a brand-new way to experience downtown Tipp City. Putterpalooza is turning our historic district into a pop-up mini golf course for one night only, and you’re invited to play.

Local businesses and community partners will each host a creative and quirky putting challenge at their storefronts, with the course stretching throughout Main Street and South Second Street. Families, friends, and date-night duos are all welcome to join in on the fun—and best of all, it’s completely free to participate.

Event Highlights:
• One-of-a-kind putting holes created by downtown businesses and Friends of Downtown
• Free slice of pizza and Kona Ice for those who pre-register
• Raffle baskets and prize giveaways
• Community booths, including Tipp City Schools with water, school supplies, and a putting challenge of their own

Registration opens July 21 and runs through July 31.
Participants who register during this window will receive a game card, pizza voucher, and Kona Ice voucher at check-in. Day-of registration will be available at the event, but does not include pizza or Kona Ice.
