As the 6th generation to own this legendary farm, we are crafting an old fashioned frontier whiskey in our early American Stillhouse. Staley Rye Whiskey is distilled using the same copper pot stills that Missy’s great-great-great grandfather Elias Staley used almost 200 years ago, the same limestone water and the same recipe. Unique to its heritage and rich in the flavors of history, Staley Rye Whiskey is the Spirit of America in a bottle! Come taste our early American Whiskeys and shop for spirits, flasks, and more. A small museum in Tipp City, Ohio curated by Gale Halderman, one of the original designers of the Ford Mustang. This museum is not open daily. Visits must be scheduled ahead of time.
Charleston Falls
Ross Road near the headquarters of the Miami County Park District
Originating from small underground springs several miles to the east, the stream creating the falls plummets 37 feet on its meandering journey to the Great Miami river, one mile to the west. A newly renovated boardwalk in the lower viewing area is complete and grants a beautiful view of the falls. Besides the 37-foot cascade, the park includes 212 acres of forests, meadows and streams, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, a planted prairie site, a small pond with viewing platform, a limestone cave and an observation tower.8am to sunset every day

Civil War Monument
Intersection of State Route 48 and 718, Pleasant Hill.
Standing majestically above the quaint streets of Pleasant Hill, the Civil War Monument is a memorial to local residents who fought and died for the Union during the Civil War. A total of 13 soldiers from this area were honored when the statue was placed in Pleasant Hill in 1895. Today, the monument stands in the middle of the community’s main intersection and acts as a traffic circle to those passing by. Several dining and shopping opportunities are close by. Canal Lock Park

Canal Lock Park is located just east of the downtown. There are benches and a picnic table for your enjoyment. Canal Lock Park in Tipp City (State Route 571). It is called “Canal Lock” park because there is a dry lock from old Miami and Erie Canal at the West end of the park. It includes parking but no restrooms or water. Location: 325 E. Eldean Covered Bridge
Corner of North County Road 25-A & Eldean Road, Troy
Set amongst the backdrop of Miami County’s vast farmland and the tree-lined corridor of the Great Miami River, the Eldean Covered Bridge is one of only two covered bridges remaining in the county. Built in 1860, the historic bridge, painted in the traditional red, was once the second longest of its kind in Ohio. Today, visitors can still cross under the protected barriers of this historic landmark, both on foot and by car. Whether you walk or drive across the bridge, the craftsmanship of the design will no doubt take you to another time in Miami County’s early history.Year Round

Fletcher Covered Bridge
Downing Street, Fletcher (one block north of U.S. 36)
In 1993, 29 local volunteer workers built the Fletcher Covered Bridge on the location of the former Gustin Ditch bridge. Dedicated in 1998, the covered bridge is a new look at an old style of bridge design. Located next to the quiet community of Fletcher, visitors to the bridge can get a taste of the simple life while visiting this historic recreation.Year Round
Train Tourism
If you’re interested in watching the trains passing through Tipp, we can recommend a nice empty lot on Sixth Street behind the S&G Painting Building. There used to be an old building here but it was torn down recently and now there is an unobstructed view for at least a hundred feet in each direction up and down the tracks. Some of these locations are private property, so please ask permission before visiting. From the Wright State University Library on the old Dayton Electric Railway: “According to the collection, the city was serviced by four streetcar lines in 1918. They were The City Railway Company, The Dayton Street Railway Company, The Oakwood Railway Company, and The Peoples Railway Company. By 1930, this system had proliferated into six separate railway companies operating eleven streetcar lines, but no major bus line. Little cooperation existed between the different companies. For a city that was the size of Dayton, such a condition was unparalleled in the nation…”

Canal Lock Park

Canal Lock Park is the closest park to our vibrant downtown. The bike path runs through this park. There are benches and a picnic table for your enjoyment
Bike Trail

The Miami County Bike Trail is a north-south paved biking trail that stretches the length of Miami County, allowing bikers, hikers and walkers to follow the path of the Great Miami River and Miami and Erie Canal. Starting at the Shelby county line, it runs south through the towns of Piqua, Troy and Tipp City before meeting up with the Montgomery County portion just south of Tipp City.- City Park - Great Miami River Access and Trail Map

Kyle Park is one of the newest community parks in Tipp City, comprised of approximately 280 acres, and is located South of Main Street off of South First Street . Dog Park
The 1.85 acre Tipp City Dog Park is located at the back of Thomas B. Kyle Memorial Park. The Dog Park is divided into separately fenced areas for large and small dogs, and includes a fully fenced perimeter with double-gates, benches, picnic tables, and a water fountain that accommodates dogs and their owners.
