Indian Creek Distillery
7095 Staley Road, New Carlisle, Ohio
An American Legacy – HEAR YE, HEAR YE… History is alive and well at Indian Creek Distillery…authentic and true to the spirit of historic Staley Mill Farm, we invite you to visit our Artisan Distillery and Tasting Tavern. As the 6th generation to own this legendary farm, we are crafting an old fashioned frontier whiskey in our early American Stillhouse. Staley Rye Whiskey is distilled using the same copper pot stills that Missy’s great-great-great grandfather Elias Staley used almost 200 years ago, the same limestone water and the same recipe. Unique to its heritage and rich in the flavors of history, Staley Rye Whiskey is the Spirit of America in a bottle! Come taste our early American Whiskeys and shop for spirits, flasks, and more. Our retail room features historic photos and artifacts, some dating back to the early 1800’s when the Staley’s whiskey making legacy began on our 200-year-old family farm.

Charleston Falls
Ross Road near the headquarters of the Miami County Park District
Originating from small underground springs several miles to the east, the stream creating the falls plummets 37 feet on its meandering journey to the Great Miami river, one mile to the west. A newly renovated boardwalk in the lower viewing area is complete and grants a beautiful view of the falls. Besides the 37-foot cascade, the park includes 212 acres of forests, meadows and streams, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, a planted prairie site, a small pond with viewing platform, a limestone cave and an observation tower.
