Parks & Bike Paths

Tipp City enjoys many parks and recreational areas for such a small town – what can we say? We love our parks! Some of the parks are described below.

Canal Lock Park

Canal Lock Park is the closest park to our vibrant downtown. The bike path runs through this park. There are benches and a picnic table for your enjoyment

Bike Trail

The Miami County Bike Trail is a north-south paved biking trail that stretches the length of Miami County, allowing bikers, hikers and walkers to follow the path of the Great Miami River and Miami and Erie Canal. Starting at the Shelby county line, it runs south through the towns of Piqua, Troy and Tipp City before meeting up with the Montgomery County portion just south of Tipp City.

City Park is located just North of downtown and houses the Roundhouse, three shelters with picnic tables, baseball diamonds, playground equipment, a disc-golf course and the Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center.

Tipp City City Park

The Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center was designed and built to provide a safe, family oriented aquatic experience for our community and features a spray ground area, two water slides, diving boards, and three pools to accommodate all ages.

Thomas Kyle Memorial Park

Soccer Fields, Softball and Baseball Diamonds, Volleyball Courts, Skate Park,  Basketball Court, Batting Cages, Driving Range, Dog Park, Trails, & Horse Trails

N. 3rd Street and Parkwood Drive

Kyle Park is one of the newest community parks in Tipp City, comprised of approximately 280 acres, and is located South of Main Street off of South First Street . There are 3 shelters available for use, 10 soccer fields, 2 softball diamonds, 10 baseball diamonds, 2 sand volleyball courts, a skate-park, basketball court, batting cage, horseshoe pits, fishing pond, driving range, and playground and exercise equipment.

Dog Park

The 1.85 acre Tipp City Dog Park is located at the back of Thomas B. Kyle Memorial Park. The Dog Park is divided into separately fenced areas for large and small dogs, and includes a fully fenced perimeter with double-gates, benches, picnic tables, and a water fountain that accommodates dogs and their owners.

Horse Trails

Bridle trails are located within Kyle Park. Amenities including a mounting block, tie rail, and picnic tables can be found at the entrance of the trail. The trail is classified as easy and has beautiful terrain to go thru along the Miami River.
