Join Us in Welcoming Our New Executive Director, Tasha Weaver
The Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) is pleased to announce Tasha Weaver as the organization’s new executive director. Weaver will step into the role on March 13. Weaver’s training as a respected travel agent, as well as her management experience in downtown retail business locations in Tipp City and Bellefontaine, allows her to bring a unique set of experiences to her new position.
“I’ve traveled all over the world, and Tipp City has something magical about it,” she says. “It’s rare to find a community that is so welcoming, a place where you can walk your dog down the street with a nice drink in your hand and such a wide variety of delicious food options and retail experiences.”
DTCP Board President Chris Snider looks forward to working with Weaver. “Tasha’s background working in small business and merchandising will complement and enhance her relationships with our downtown merchants,” he explains. “She has great communication skills and will do an excellent job of maintaining our positive relationships within the community.
Weaver is excited to learn more about Tipp City and to support the growth and preservation happening downtown. Her first official event as executive director will be on March 17, where she will assist with the third annual St. Patrick’s Day 3.1 Beer Run sponsored by Can’t Stop Running Co. More than 500 runners and dozens of volunteers will have the opportunity to meet Tasha and experience all downtown Tipp City has to offer.
