The Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) is looking for an Event Support Assistant. This is someone who loves the energy of a community event, enjoys making sure details are just right, and wants to be part of what makes Tipp City memorable. DTCP’s mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance Tipp City’s historic downtown. Our events aren’t just about gathering; they help fund preservation projects, support local businesses, and keep downtown vibrant and welcoming. The Event Support Assistant will play a key role in ensuring these events run smoothly, from setup to breakdown and everything in between. You’ll be part of the team that helps bring people together while supporting the heart of Tipp City.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting with event setup, breakdown, and logistics.
Distributing flyers, check-in lists, and materials to local businesses.
Running errands to pick up supplies and last-minute event needs.
Supporting volunteers, ensuring they have the resources they need.
Capturing photos and videos to help share the community experience.
Representing DTCP in a friendly and professional way during events.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Reliable and adaptable—ready to jump in when needed.
✔️ A strong communicator, able to take direction but also solve problems on the spot.
✔️ Comfortable working with volunteers and engaging with local businesses.
✔️ Positive and professional in every interaction.
✔️ Able to lift up to 25 pounds and handle supply runs.
✔️ Has reliable transportation for errands and event needs.
