Historic WACO Field & Aircraft Museum

1865 South County Road 25-A, Troy OH

The WACO Aircraft Company was the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the country in the late 1920's and early 30's in Troy and WACO Air Museum is dedicated to the factory and the employees that made it great. WACO also designed and manufactured the CG4A Glider used in WW II. The museum houses 10 airplanes, a Glider Theatre and WACO simulator. Experience the ride of a lifetime in an open cockpit bi-plane.

Civil War Monument

Intersection of State Route 48 and 718, Pleasant Hill.

Standing majestically above the quaint streets of Pleasant Hill, the Civil War Monument is a memorial to local residents who fought and died for the Union during the Civil War. A total of 13 soldiers from this area were honored when the statue was placed in Pleasant Hill in 1895. Today, the monument stands in the middle of the community’s main intersection and acts as a traffic circle to those passing by. Several dining and shopping opportunities are close by. Outside visitation only.

Boonshoft Museum

The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is a children's museum in Dayton, Ohio, United States that focuses on science. Exhibits include an extensive natural history collection as well as maintaining a collection of live animals native to Ohio. Educational outreach extends to the community by providing in-school programming and on-site special programs.
